This deep pink rose is stunning in real life and is the size of my palm. The scent is lovely, although I appreciate not everyone enjoys a fragrant flower. ❤️ 😍

Yes, I was back at Old Parliament House in Canberra. So shot this picture while I was there.

People's lives in the hands of incompetent dimwits. If you're going to shorten the airport runway, say by 1600 metres or whatever, advise the flight crew beforehand! Those passengers and crew had a lucky escape in 2023. Hard to believe this level of negligence occurs in Australia.

In a speech at Old Parliament House on Monday night, PM Albanese has said the dismissal of Gough Whitlam on 11 November 1975 was a "calculated plot, hatched by conservative forces", firing up a decades-long debate. There is no denying that.

On Tuesday 11 November, it is 50 years since the sacking of the Whitlam government. Extraordinary times for Australia. Have a listen to Niki Savva's observations, including: "I don't think we've got the full story yet." That will probably never happen.
