I suspect the real reason Nigel Farage is getting so rattled by the racism allegations is that:

1) He knows he said all these things so can't properly deny them
2) He knows that he carried on saying them well into adulthood

Farage has been dismissing evidence of Russian ties to the Salisbury Novichok attack since 2018 🧐

This sort of misses the point. His strategy is to dog whistle racists as they are his kin. So asking him to apologise for the thing that gives him the source of his power won’t work. And his MO is defiance. Attacking him on other fronts - Russian influence, his money and business dealings may do

Anyone with a conscience can see this grifter for what he is. Those who don’t have elected for racism and probably don’t care. And that needs to be fought. They’ve always walked among us, but Farage gives them licence www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The worst part of the Trump Piggy thing, wasn’t the fact that the Odious Orange Porker said it, but that no men on the plane stood in and told him to apologise and showed up as an ally to the woman. If it had been in your local pub, he’d have been decked. Men, men and always men.

I watched a doc about the Loch Ness monster last night. One bloke said regardless of what the scientists find I’ll still believe. Brexit was like that. And climate change. And so many issues where the facts stand in the way of right wing ignorance. This rubbish needs to stop.

The far-right is coming for everything - the BBC is just tip of the iceberg. Give it power and it will take control of the courts, the Electoral Commission, the universities, the school curriculum and all other organs of civic power. The aim is very simple: never losing power again.

Why people like Trump hate the BBC. His bullshit relies on distorting reality. He does it by throwing as much shit at the wall as he can. And by brash confidence. In a social media environment the only defence against it is fact checking. That’s what the BBC does. It’s why he hates it. Screw him.
November 10, 2025 at 6:24 PM
I’m assuming if Trump sues the BBC it would be under British law. So, lawmakers - show a bit of backbone. Not a penny please
