This one’s an excellent song for a morning alarm — it’s a nice build up so it’s not jarring. I’ve been using it for probably 10 years.

Totally looks like a Home Depot trip!
I’m not sure what the *total* ended up being — I think there were 2 or 3 different billings. I waited until they all had plenty of time to go through insurance adjustments before I paid anything.
I imagine foot bones required a more nuanced surgery, too.

I think my total from the surgical center was something like $15k, pre-insurance.
When I saw my surgery x-ray, I said my (deceased) dad would 100% have said he could have made that out of some stuff he had in the shop and 83 cents.

Those doors are EXACTLY what I was thinking of! Touchless items can be hard for people on crutches or who have Parkinson’s.
And then there’s even conflict among disabilities — tactile paving on sidewalks is awesome for visually impaired but *rough* for steering a wheelchair or knee scooter.

I have been here since Wednesday afternoon, did this Thursday evening and fly home tomorrow because I need surgery. 😭
Definitely not enough time.
Can’t stress enough — GET TRAVEL INSURANCE. Just flying me (and an accompanying paramedic) home is minimum $20k. (Get to fly business!)
