Pacific Drive was exactly that - an incredibly smooth and addictive experience from the get, an engaging, sometimes heart tuggingly emotional time whenever I booted up. I'm not huge on survival games but this immediately caught me. One of my favorite games this year, many of which are on this list!
One of my main goals w/ Pacific Drive was to make a survival game that appeals to and works for folks that don't really like or play that stuff so the blurb in here is extremely satisfying for me! I'll paste it in a thread below, but this is a great list to look through

This game flips between calm and dread wonderfully, interspersed with absurdity and frantic escapes. There's a setting to make accidentally hitting your head while closing the trunk fatal. Your car can develop a quirk that makes the doors pop open whenever you turn on the headlights. I recommend it.
