For me, I’ve always struggled to consider it with the appropriate gender markers, because Murderbot’s internal voice mirrors that of my cis-male partner.

Yup. I don't think many people realize that USPS provides service to addresses that every single private carrier in the country will refuse to deliver to. They even service addresses that are only accessible by boat! There's still a mule route!

They aren’t the most talkative, but
- one will provide dissertation defenses when he feels he should be getting a treat,
- one sounds like a death metal singer when he lectures us, and
- they both will start a “midnight howl” if they feel that fun is occurring that they are not invited to.

To everyone in a similar scenario: the tactic my doctor's office has taught me is to ask, in writing, for:
1) the name, board specialty, and license number of the doctor making the determination the treatment was not medically necessary;
