I don't think I've seen a reason why they went with "Ranger" specifically, but I can believe the military name connection (V3 uses "Destron Rangers" for an elite unit for example). Use of "-ranger" in the title does go back quite far in the pre-production stage, almost to the beginning.

I feel this is a @igadevil.bsky.social question, but considering Sentai takes its name from the military squadron term, "Ranger" might have also come from military jargon?

It was revealed today that “Toujima wants to be a kamen rider” is airing for two consecutive cours, with cour two beginning January 10th, 2026.
The series will be 24 episodes total.

It was good premiere. Nice to see the newest Kamen Rider is streaming GLOBALLBY (also here in U.S.A.). The dream setting work well, for now.
I like the Zeztz suit design and glowing effect.

It was good premiere. Nice to see the newest Kamen Rider is streaming GLOBALLBY (also here in U.S.A.). The dream setting work well, for now.
