Idea for a film: the battle off Samar, 25 Oct 1944, from alternating points of view. Half will cover either USS Samuel B Roberts or USS Johnston, which both sank defending the Taffy 3 carriers. The other half will cover 1 of 2 Japanese cruisers, IJN Chikuma or IJN Suzuya, both of which also sank.

nobody will remember:
- your salary
- how “busy you were”
- how many hours you worked

people will remember:
- how many squid facts you knew
- if you offered others squid facts
- how you made people feel when you told them a squid fact
