This speaks for me too. I felt sure there was an element of elaboration in what Oliver wrote, but it went far further than I imagined. I still consider him a friend, but sometimes friends can deeply disappoint you (and doubtless vice versa). What a complicated man.

This speaks for me too. I felt sure there was an element of elaboration in what Oliver wrote, but it went far further than I imagined. I still consider him a friend, but sometimes friends can deeply disappoint you (and doubtless vice versa). What a complicated man.

I enjoyed reading and learning about "kindness contagion." Sort of the opposite of what we have going on in the US right now, which is a contagion of cruelty and performative cruelty.
