New little RainBOO friend sets are getting photographed today! The sets will be available for pre0rder on Friday at noon CST and will be 📦 by the end of May. Each little BoOfriend is hand sculpted and are fired twice in my kiln. No two boos are exactly alike! #whimsygoth #handmadeceramics #trinkets

Before and After Glaze firing, my experiment worked!
I mixed each Amaco celadon glaze with the glaze next to it in a 75/25, 50/50, & 25/75 % ratio. It was a time consuming process but well worth the experience! #ceramics #art #amacoglazes

Kiln is firing new pieces for the Goblin Market this Saturday!!

I now have an iPad!
I’ve been hand drawing my coloring sheets, tracing them on a 1960s/70s light table with a sharpie, then scanning them.
This is going to be a game changer. I’m actually going to be able to make coloring sheets, stickers, and other ideas I want to explore for the BoOfriends!!

Did it take way longer than just picking 10 glazes and glazing all 100 boos at once? Yes, yes it did
Could this be an absolute failure? Absolutely
Would I do it again? Of course!

I started this year off sick with covid so I am just barely getting back into my studio. Last year was the year of the BoOfriends and I plan to continue that this year. I have so many new ideas to explore. Weekly community ghost doodles will start back up this Sunday!

Testing out some new glaze mixing today. Amaco celadon glazes are mixable to create custom colors. I’m trying out 75/25, 50/50, and 25/75 mixes. The idea is to have a gradient of colors! My boos will go in the kiln next week before the Goblin Market at CASP 5 & J Gallery!
