There are cells in our retinas that produce pigments to absorb excess light. Scientists are trying to understand what controls the number of pigments as this could help inform stem cell therapies. elifesciences.org/digests/9251...

That’s interesting. The Yamagata flu strain had not been detected since 2020, probably thanks to Covid related changes in behaviour.
