Starting a new thread here for updates inside the courtroom for Luigi Mangione's follow-up appearance, which I'm anticipating will be very brief.
No idea how the courts will handle the supporters in the hallway after seating those that fit. There is no overflow room, and no live pool camera -- still photos only.

Well the award for most cowardly, boot-lickingest academic society has squarely gone to the American Society of Microbiology, who has taken down features of various non-white scientists. Absolutely pathetic behavior. Those articles are now coming up as “under review”. Truly sickening cowardice here.

Also just thinking how completely disheartening it is to try to have a conversation with friends about how neoliberalism leads to fascism and to have them say "but what can we do?"
Like it makes me sad that people cannot see a way out of the cycle.
