American in the EU, working on democratizing access to power. Basically all the things that guy from that other platform is working to reverse. All opinions here are my own.
The only appropriate response to that awful and shameful “op Ed”

Yes, The New York Times is committing genocidal journalism
In his latest NYT column, Bret Stephens tries to excuse a uniquely horrific crime with uniquely horrific journalism.

Sorry but why the hell does Bret Stephens still write for The New York Times? There’s a difference between an opinion piece and complete, dangerous idiocy. A line all American media is treading thinly at this point.

This article is a masterclass in what’s happening with American politics re: migration

Demonizing the “other” until you realize it’s someone you care about and it’s too late

No GoFundMe or t shirt is going to solve this. You voted to deport your neighbor.

This is horrific. So many migrants I have worked with who came through Libya had clear signs of torture and assault. We cannot just detain people in third countries, where are the judges?

Please take the time.

Filibustering is so uniquely American and the only reason I would ever want to run for office (I don’t). I can yap all day, all night. I would drive them insane.

It absolutely does. Especially when you can use tools to turn the protest into concrete demands and action.

Thank you Cory Booker for speaking up (for 19 hours!!)
I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Criminal abuse of power. A corrupt politician being found guilty in a court of law.
Judges did their job. Le Pen muzzled herself. She is responsible for her own demise. Democracy is safer today.

Outraged at what is happening to students in America but grateful at the community leadership we’ve been building as Fletcher
We, members of the Tufts community, are appalled and enraged by the unlawful abduction on Tufts PhD Fulbright student Rümeysa Öztürk by federal authorities. We call on the Tufts administration to commit to defending our community against continued targeted attacks.

I’m still processing what we saw in the Oval Office and it’s difficult to put into words how disgusted and ashamed I am.

This was a coordinated assault on an ally to benefit a dictator and authoritarian regime. Trump and Vance aren’t just Putin’s puppets, they’re his assets.
