anyway, i got word tonight just before all this that ICE is doing raids in Huron, SD, where there's a significant population of Karen refugees from what used to be Burma. They have a very large tightknight community there, and many of them work at the turkey processing plant there. I hate this.

Someone I more or less grew up with in the cult reconnected with me today. He’s also out of the cult and recently came out as bi. After he came out as bi his son came out as gay. That generational healing was the good news I needed to hear today 🥹

I’m 38 years old and last weekend I got carded at a bar and once the bartender saw my id she complimented my skin. So the world may be falling apart but i’m gonna ride that high for the rest of the year.
