An observation: there was tons of interest in this story from French-language media and independent media (even a lil from international) but none from Canadian, English-language MSM.
I wonder why.

It would be a massive loss to Canada to lose the CBC.
Without the CBC and independent new media like The Walrus etc., we will go down the same rabbit hole as our friends to the south. NO WAY!
Without the CBC, foreign and corporate interests will dictate our news, silence independent journalism, and leave Canadians uninformed. We need our own voice now more than ever.
