I just called Bilirakis' office and screamed at the staffer. Why are we creating solutions to problems that literally don't exist and creating problems as a result of the solution when we have actual problems that need actual solutions? I've been fed up for a long time but now the gloves are off.
The anti-voter SAVE Act just passed in the House of Representatives.
Their motives are clear: the GOP wants to disenfranchise millions of Americans by putting up roadblocks to the ballot box.
I will be leading the charge to stop this in the Senate.

Stop teaching babies to speak. And do kindergarteners *really* need to recognize numbers and letters? Elementary-aged children can figure out how to read and do math if they want. And high schoolers need nothing — they’re nearly adults.

Because we don't have enough unhoused people in America we should add a significant number more for no good reason. Reminder, providing stable housing saves a lot of money that government would otherwise spend on services.
The Trump admin is weighing (legally) unilaterally cutting Section 8 housing & select other funds.
Because of how far into the fiscal year we are, this’d be an immediate 30% cut to Section 8 and would kick more than 2 million people out of their homes.
