Trying to buy movie tickets online for 20mins but constant error "we cannot verify you are not a robot".
No "I am human" option, just "close and try again". Tried multiple times.
Obvs, am far too efficient at checkout and entering CC deets. Note to self, must act more derpy when buying online...

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

I always wanted to visit the US and it makes me sad that I won't be able to in the near future, or perhaps ever. Just too unsafe for any visitors, especially those against Trump and MAGA, and it's going to take a looooog time for people to trust that country again.

This. It couldn't be clearer to everyone now whose side they are on.
No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

When a negotiated end or ceasefire to the war (which Russia WILL renege on later) results in Russia's territorial expansion, Ukraine should what? Consider it?
No, it's not possible to hold that view without being pro-Russia.

Personally, I have been opposed to the war in Ukraine from the beginning, and wanted a quick negotiated end to it and a ceasefire, but it is perfectly possible to hold those views without being openly pro Russia, and anti Ukraine, or parroting Putin talking points. Sheesh.

I watched the video of the Oval Office exchange from today. How Trump and JD Vance conducted themselves is disgusting. I support Zelenskky and Ukraine.
As an Australian, I am horrified about the geopolitical implications of this. We are partners with the USA. This affects us all.
