UPDATE: The Senate votes 53-47 to shoot down the Baldwin amendment to extend ACA funds for 1 year. A party-line vote with every Republican rejecting it.
An important vote in this series: Tammy Baldwin’s proposal to extend ACA expiring funds for 1 year. It’s structured as a motion to table (i.e. scrap it from the amendment tree). But it’ll show the appetite (or lack thereof) in the Senate to address this issue.

Not on this one. Asking for everything on this one is an over reach. We already know Medicare as is works reasonably well as public policy for 67 million people. The strongest argument is to extend it the rest of the way. I'm on it. I know.

I don't need perfect M4A. I need regular M4A now, paid for through our graduated net income tax, and we can improve it from there.

Time for M4A. I guess that's obvious now. That will mean winning elections by pushing hard for it, ending the filibuster, and growing the SCOTUS by at least 4 rational Justices. Are you up for it?

He wrote an opinion that a regulation of 1/6 of our economy, the ACA, was not a valid exercise of the Commerce Clause. That is disqualifying ideological extremism.
