I've been thinking of the next general election which could be less than 3 years away if Labour spots a scintilla of good news and goes for a summer election in 2028. How will Labour respond if there is a united Reform/Conservative ticket?

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe.

Will we listen to his words today?

History buffs will know that every authoritarian leader eventually converges on some version of: "I *am* the state. I can not break the law, I am the law, the law is instantiated in me."

Our march to authoritarianism so far has been excruciatingly by-the-book. Hitting every beat. No surprises.

🤦‍♂️ So Labour are making ads boasting about deportations, with Reform-style branding.

Why are Labour trying to be like Farage and his mates?

If only the Government put as much effort into creating a fast, fair and dignified asylum system.

Elon Musk just led a coup d'etat in the US.

But the Democrats are a hopeless mess, and the US media is increasingly cowed.

DeepSeek’s success with less powerful chips shows how constraints fuel innovation. While the West poured billions into brute-force solutions, resource-limited teams in China built models that are leaner, cheaper, and just as powerful. Sometimes, too much money breeds inefficiency.
