I loved this book and I am wondering about the DCU adaptation. The story reminds me a bit of True Grit with Supergirl instead of Cogburn.

Movie is supposed to be based on graphic novel, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Story starts with Supergirl and her dog Krypto partying on worlds with red suns (so she can get drunk) celebrating her 21st birthday.
