This guy voted for RFK Jr. to lead HHS.

The hypocrisy would be comical if it wasn’t so tragic.

This is so, so bad.

1. The Senate confirmed RFK Jr at the same time as a massive measles outbreak was sweeping through areas of Texas with low vaccination rates.

RFK Jr visited Texas yesterday. Not to address the burgeoning crisis but to continue to push anti-vaccine messaging.

The updated count of measles cases in Texas now stands at 90, increased from 58 three days ago. Of these cases, 77 (86%) are children, 85 (94%) overall are unvaccinated, and 0 (0.0%) have been mentioned by RFK Jr. the Secretary of HHS. He’s far too busy casting aspersions on vaccines.

In 2019, RFK Jr visited Samoa to spread anti-vax lies, spurring a measles outbreak that led to the deaths of 83 people - mostly children.

We can’t let that tragedy repeat in Texas. The MMR vaccine is 97% effective at preventing measles. Let’s stop the spread.

Correct. The antivax movement has long been strongly eugenicist and social Darwinist.
They know removing vaccines will kill thousands of children. They don't care. They think natural selection from avoidable diseases should continue unabated, especially among the poor and uneducated. Every single one of these people who voted for RFK Jr. will vaccinate their own children.
