It astounds me that the Canadians that worry about Mark Carney’s conflict of interest are the same ones who think Trump walks on water.

Back in the 90’s, my husband and I were moderate fans of Steve Irwin and were truly saddened by his untimely death. It puts a smile on my face to see that his son is even more Steve Irwin than Steve Irwin was. Just a genuine love for life.

I had a hard time at university. Struggled to make new friends. Second guessed my choice of study. Felt culture shock going from a quiet small town to a noisy busy city.

It’s been well over a year since I walked away from Twitter and I honestly have not missed it. I do miss some of my online friends and the conversations I had with them, but I do NOT miss the hate filled vitriol that permeates that platform.
