Malpertuis by Jean Ray, what an interesting take on a gothic horror novel. I will say this has made me very intrigued by gothic horror and I expect to read more within the genre soon.

Just finished my second read of the year and The Missing Sister was fairly good. I’ve had the book sitting on my Kindle for years and finally decided to read it. It’s not what I expected, but it was good for what it was. 4.25/5 ⭐️

I’ve only managed to read one non-romance book this month, but 56 Days was such an amazing read! I guess we’re sorta far enough for me to read a book set during COVID-19 and not be traumatized. 4.5 ⭐️
