No, Trump won’t move the World Cup out of the Boston area. The games will actually be played in Foxborough, in the stadium owned by Robert Kraft. They’re friends; Trump named Kraft’s wife to the new Kennedy Center board. So, not gonna happen.

Not knowing the author’s background, I thought the piece might describe an executive’s slow-burning disillusionment with his employer’s DEI program. And then I read about his exit plan from A-B: starting a firm “with my high school friend Vivek Ramaswamy.” Feels like he was already gone.

To Douthat, Trump and Russ’ friend and hero J..D Vance are facing up to hard truths — they’re just not telling them with finesse. But they’re not “ruthlessly stripping away pretenses.” The reality: They’ve so bought into Putin that they’re throwing away our standing in the world.
