For me, this piece is about mental health as a hero's journey, in a sense, where the hero must journey into the other world/nether world to learn something profound about themselves, the world, and life and then return.

The bigger change is presentation, historically, these emails were visually chaotic: sudden colour changes, ALL CAPS, screenshots pasted at random. Classic signs of disordered thinking. Now they’re neat, structured, and grammatically consistent. The delusion hasn't changed, but the formatting has.

i have a few pieces i think...

digital greyscale illustration, narrow and tall. A stumbling horse with two misshapen heads is at the bottom of an immensely deep pit, being engulfed in thick black sludge that is pouring and dripping straight down from the solid pitch black top third of the canvas. The sludge is dripping down almost all of its body, and pouring straight into one of the mouths as the mouth sputters. A few sludge drips are flowing straight up from the horse's body, against gravity. The bottom portion of the canvas is white and light grey despite there being no apparent light source. Static noise overlays the solid surface of the pit itself.
