The woman who was run down with horses, clubbed with sabers, and trampled also apears to have been shot directly in the head from close range in the same incident. The officer blames bystanders for LAPD's actions. Warning: lots of blood
Via @btnewsroom A protester was shot in the head as Los Angeles riot. Police fired rubber bullets, during an anti-ICE protest. Community members say police refused to call an ambulance despite her bleeding. Her current condition is unknown.

Fabricating Authenticity. The content is extremely engaging and relevant. I loved the chapter about authentic Mexican food in PEI as well as the ones discussing authenticity in religions - or lack thereof. Fantastic scholarly work by all authors/professors involved. I look forward to reading again!
