There has been a lot of focus on the District’s budget due to an effort in Congress to force the District of Columbia to cut 1 billion dollars in spending 6 months into the fiscal year. Budgets can be complicated, so to combat confusion I’d like to introduce “The District Budget, 101 pt 1”. 1/4
