Completely agree with your quote. I’m not an epi or ID expert, but I was on Salem MA School Committee from 2020-2023 and helped with the Covid response. We had testing, masking, filtration and increased (not ideal) ventilation in late fall 2020 when we brought kids back - it worked - no spread yr 1.
