Delays on Line 1. Should I be concerned?

My first time making Finnish malt bread. The three boules cracked at the bottom during baking. Does anyone know why the boules would crack like that? Did I not slash the tops deeply enough? I have never had this happen before, but this is my first time making this type of rye. #bread #baking

It’s a start.

It’s coming along (pattern from Super Subversive Cross Stitch by Julie Jackson).
The words BITE ME cross stitched in black capital letters with a black bat above them, also in cross stitch. There is a simple orange cross stitch border going from top right to bottom left. The left side of the border is unfinished. The piece is held in place by a simple wooden hoop.

I made bread. Then I made a sandwich. Now I’m eating it. Overall, a positive sequence of events.

My mother’s cat, but an excellent feline in all ways who adores my eldest.
