Herzl Halevi was IDF COS until March. He confirms that 10% of #Gaza's population have been killed or injured, more than 200 K people, just the same count as the #Palestinian Health Ministry's.
So cut the bullshit about Palestinians inflating the numbers.

The mendacity is breathtaking - blaming universities, which bent over backwards to host Kirk’s hate-speech TPUSA events, spending thousands on extra security with minimal student interest, over the objection of the many targeted by his attacks & forced to watch him pocket their student fees… 1/

Ezra Klein is trying in this column to argue that Kirk was doing politics correctly if you just ignore the content of what he was advocating. That he was contributing to American democracy by arguing civilly for the subjugation of women, gay people, trans people. It simply doesn’t work.
I feel like I am taking crazy pills. Charlie Kirk’s ultimate goal, which he said time and time again, would have been the suppression, through threat of violence and the use of state power, of the rights of those he disagreed with, including freedom of expression.

Yes. If DHS can barge in, say your visa was revoked, be told you have a green card, say it's revoked too, and then disappear you so that neither your lawyer nor your family can find you, then all the guardrails are gone. There is no policy, practice, or law protecting anyone.

Let's be really really clear. The Trump admin chose a Palestinian activist as the target of its first lawless political detention precisely BECAUSE they believe that will split the opposition.

If you shrug at the abduction of Mahmoud Khalil, or worse, cheer it on, you're following Trump's script.

Dems are Clintonians playing the game of alternating with Republicans for the sake of corporations. They think right now it is the other team's turn so they don't want to speak out of turn. Anyway the corporations they serve are fine either way. Same as letting Netanyahu genocide the Palestinians.
Ok. Others are asking this question too. Good.
Practicality aside from the lunacy of it all, they're just dumping how many thousands of people into the job market.

Democrats don't seem to understand how bad the aftershocks from that are going to be and it's baffling.

It is 100 percent their fault. They intentionally shut out AOC in favor of an old white guy with cancer. They turned Harris's "fuck those people are so weird" campaign vibe into standard James Carville pablum. It is their fault. And we are all paying the price.
Something that I think we can all agree on is that the current generation of Democratic leadership is simply not optimized for the Attention Age. Not really their fault! And honestly, they may be better people for it, but it's a pretty pressing political problem.
