1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?

Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.

Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!

A little weird to be on the other side of the podcast after 3.5 years of hosting, but thankful Nick took the time for a farewell (for now??) episode!

Also quick point of clarification, I said grad school is expensive, when I meant Bozeman, MT is expensive (especially on a grad student salary).
This week we catch up and say farewell (for now) with our long-time host Kadie Heinle. For the last 3.5 years she has been releasing her monthly episode while working towards her Ph.D. We discuss her project and her life outside of school. Enjoy!

If I may, I am inserting my TED talk about starting small, doing whatever you can here

People will join you when they see you working. Your efforts don’t have to be permanent or reach millions of people to matter

Everybody can’t just sit online and complain the next four years
