Bought some of the rolls recently from Costco here in the UK. Was pleased to see them. My husband really likes, so will definitely buy more. Hoping to have some myself before he eats them all!
This is very tasty, you will like it😋

With everything going on in the world, I recently had the urge to cast on a pair of socks inspired by the Ukrainian flag. So here they are.

If you're a knitter/crocheter & love hats, you probably know Woolly. If not, you should take a look at her patterns & book. I have a number of her patterns, & book, & I love her.

If you support Ukraine's fight against the Russian invasion, you can support Ukraine, while making her lovely hats.

Today is a reminder of Zelensky's superhuman stamina and strength. He deflected deeply unfair vile attacks in his 3rd language and kept it together while two bullies threatened his country's existence and repeated the tired but infuriating propaganda tropes of the aggressor.

For #ShowMeYourKnits here is an Orchidaceae lace yoke jumper in progress. Pattern by Susan Crawford. I have a limited amount of the blue yarn I hand dyed myself, so planning contrast cuffs and welts, and will work these and part of the body top down to make best use of available yarn.

I have just finished knitting this laceweight top, which had stripes as I was a little short of yarn so just right for #ShowMeYourKnits . The pattern is Blouse with a Gathered Neckline from Susan Crawford's A Stitch in Time volume 2 revised. 🧶

Cold, damp February day, and the boiler is not working so we have no central heating. So grateful for a wardrobe of woolly knitwear, and today I am wearing: thick socks, wool skirt, a thin short sleeved jumper, Lopi jumper, and a heavy cardigan to keep me warm!

Very recently finished this wall hanging quilt. It uses the setting Sarah Fielke produced for Aurifil Labs 2, but I appliqued and embroidered flowers adapted from Jo Avery's Dream Flowers collection instead of hearts. Had great fun at all stages making this. 🧶

Yesterday was a day of migraine, but I managed some sock knitting when things allowed.
A pattern for troubled times:
Row 1: put your phone down
Row 2: pick up your hobby supplies
Row 3: make something for at least an hour
Row 4: take a photo of your make
Row 5: share that photo to your timeline (with alt text)
Row 6: like others' makes.

Rep rows 1-6 until time for tea.

I recently finished knitting these fingerless mitts from yarn gifted me for Christmas some years ago. Used the basic mitts recipe from @kateatherley.bsky.social Knit Mitts book, adding cuffs to hand and thumb which can be unfolded when I need more warmth. 🧶
