The apparent decline in right-wing terrorism needs to be understood in the context of the fact that right-wing terrorism all but ceased under the Third Reich as well.

When the state is an instrument of right-wing terror, right-wing terrorism is known simply as "law enforcement".

They use "Free Speech" the same way they use "Pro-Life."

They're not pro-life on healthcare, guns, Covid, the death penalty, or war.

And they're not in favour of free speech when it’s Muslims, migrants, teachers, or protesters.

It’s a brand, not a belief.

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

I guess I am too!
I believe in a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

I believe in liberty and justice for all.

I believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

I am clearly a radical leftist.

RFK Jr. rolled out that old chestnut again about how healthy Americans were in the 60’s, so here’s a fact check.

In 1965:

-42% of American adults smoked; it’s 11% now.

-The infant morality rate was 24.7/1000; it’s 5.6/1000 now.

-Overall life expectancy was 70 years; it's about 77 years now.

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

It shouldn’t take bravery for survivors to come forward about sexual assault.

It only takes bravery because the systems that are supposed to protect survivors betray them. In a more just world, it would be easy for survivors to come forward and we would all be waiting to hear and help them.

Netflix just gave Gavin Newsom 2 million for the redistricting fight and made a deal with Sesame Street. New episodes will air there and the backlog of old episodes will Be free to watch.

Netflix picked a side. I will keep my subscription.

I hope people realize how absolutely fucked this situation is.

This isn’t normal. People are resigning all over the place because the government is mishandling our data, ruining our public health services, and generally making Americans less safe.

If someone tells you there's nothing we can do about gun violence beyond thoughts and prayers, remind them:

—Gun laws in other countries have prevented mass shootings
—More guns don't make us safer
—A majority of Americans want gun reform

We don't have to live like this.

The clearest picture of corporate greed in this country is CEO-to-worker pay ratios.

At the 100 lowest-paying major US companies, CEO pay averaged $17.2M in 2024.

Median worker pay at these companies was just $35,570.

That’s a ratio of 632 to 1.

How can anyone defend this?
