I decided to try bluesky. I know it’s during the mass Twitter exit, but I left Twitter right after Elon took over, and had problems before that. I went back to comfortable social media I knew how to navigate. Tumblr and Mastadon. I recently am trying threads and now this. I’m mostly a lurker though.

Tech millionaire turned longevity pioneer Bryan Johnson devotes more than 6 hours a day to trialling different methods to turn back the clock. Can the rest of us learn anything from his radical approach?
Things have been rough mentally, to the point where tomorrow my therapist and I are gonna try EDMR to help me stop having panic attacks over everything.

I tried acrylic painting the other day, and I don’t know if it’s my depression or just that it’s been so long, but I hated what I made. I think it’s a combo of both.

I’ve seen a lot more people feeling comfortable making stigmatizing jokes against mentally ill people. Listen Hakeem Jeffries sucks, but living with a mental illness that is highly stigmatized is hard, you don’t have to belittle a whole group of people to make fun of an ineffective politician.
hakeem jeffries is an inspiration for lobotomy survivors everywhere 💪

My eye surgery was a success! I can see in the middle of my face again! Now just a few weeks of healing and I can hopefully start working on all the projects I had to delay.

I have a lot of movies I’ve meant to watch, but haven’t gotten around to it. So I’m trying to take the time to. So, I watched Annihilation yesterday. I really enjoyed it. It was very pretty and well acted.

I wish my eye surgery was sooner. June 2024-Feb 2025. I’m not supposed to drive, I get migraines from my eyes. For routine strabismus surgery, 8 months. Not counting the year wait to get into the eye doc for the referral to the specialist.
