This paragraph demonstrates the total failure of our social care system. An 8 year old shouldn’t have to do this, an 8 year old cannot be responsible for the safety of a vulnerable adult. The local authority should have been caring for her mum. Now she’s being punished. Disgusting state of affairs.

The EHRC is far too cosy with anti-trans groups, and, along with the Supreme Court, they're now trying to erase trans rights. They're no longer fit for purpose.

The interim EHRC guidance is as bad as expected (and arguably wrong per the judgement) but this part where they tell gay/lesbian associations that they can’t include trans people is just wild. Like, seriously, fuck all the way off.

I’ve only made it through the recommendations of the Sullivan Review and the erasure of intersex people and use of ‘gender critical’ activist language is pretty fucking alarming.
