i guess my point is that this is not a feminist issue and a feminist lens or framework can't really address it. this is an issue of white women trying to reclaim their place in a white supremacist structure that has cast them aside bc they no longer fulfill their purpose.

this is actually a really common way of understanding the world among pundits where events can only be classified if they fit a strict definition and if they don’t fit that definition then they cannot be classified in that way. it is as if they see definitions as structuring reality.
