Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Decidedly lukewarm take but: posting negative reviews is fine, actually. If it's evidenced and not a personal attack on the author, it's not mean to share a non-glowing opinion. We're allowed to have opinions on the art we consume.

Anytime I am struggling and have nowhere to go, public libraries are my sanctuary.

A safe haven with warmth, restrooms, internet access, books, and the simple dignity of being able to exist in peace—without any expectation of spending money.

I can’t believe people are already posting their books of the year. I’m just reading a book now that might be my favourite book.

You will get my list on December 31st and no earlier!

Semi-regular reminder that shifting ANY of your spending away from Amazon/Walmart to a locally owned store is significant. Don't be discouraged if you had to go there for something. Do what you can & know that it counts.
