Drop-off is a measure of the difference between the presidential candidate and a major down-ballot candidate of the same party. A large positive drop-off indicates an "overperformance" by a candidate, meaning the candidate received more votes than is typical.

I keep reading about people going to the Minecraft movie and freaking out about how wild the experience is. It is easy to forget that Minecraft is the closest thing this generation has to a mall or an arcade or a neighborhood in the summer. It IS thier shared 3rd place.
