It’s Day 23 of the ICE invasion of MSP.
Today we again saw increased activity- further evidence of the surge.
Tonight we know neighbors are keeping watch - at church services and apartment buildings, businesses and in neighborhoods across the metro.

A Black trans woman was murdered near Powderhorn Park two and a half weeks ago and I haven’t seen a single elected official say anything about it. There has been no directive or statement from Mary Moriarty. Nothing from the mayor. Nothing from city council.

I’m running a coat drive for Supply Depot and GMCC!!! We are hoping to distribute 350 coats, primarily to unhoused residents and new arrivals/refugees. You can drop off coats at Arbeiter Brewing or Duck Duck Coffee, or DM me to arrange another option!

Hey friends - we have been running out of tents, sleeping bags, and tarps every single week and it's getting colder. We know of at least one camp getting evicted this week. If you can help, $ goes farthest but you can also bring winter clothes and secondhand tents to any of our drop spots!

So a lot of people who are in unstable, abusive, and/or periodically violent living situations keep cell phones hidden for emergencies.
If you know anyone in such a situation, make sure they know about FEMA's testing of its Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) system next Wednesday.
