Reguliersbreestraat, Amsterdam in 1979 and today. Once two car-parking lanes, a single tram line with cars queueing on it, and bikes squeezed between it all. Now it’s two tram lines with generous pedestrian space. Cities reflect the priorities of the politicians who shaped them.

Kelvin Hall in Glasgow has just completed a roof-mounted solar project, it features more than 1,000 solar panels & is part of the city’s climate strategy saving 20% of the building’s annual electricity needs @smartcities.bsky.social @kats-eye.bsky.social
