Secondly on one hand we want elected officials to DO SOMETHING & then when they put their bodies on the line to do it we say it was a "stunt"?

The dirty secret of queer liberation is that it's impossible to stop weirdos from existing without incredible levels of state backed violence. And I'm afraid that, as an internet transsexual, you do not have access to that kind of power and are probably just going to have to get over yourself.

The only reason Gritty survived was because the rest of the country had the same "what the fuck eldritch horror is that" reaction and Philly's oppositional defiant disorder activated and it became "fuck you, that's OUR eldritch horror and we love them"
