Every episode of Columbo includes a scene where he tells the killer that his wife is a huge fan of their music, acting, cooking, art, etc.

And then he arrests them for murder.

The whole show is all about Columbo destroying all the things his wife loves. Pure emotional terrorism.

Aaand here we go. Meta is now offering to stop using my info for targeted ads if I pay a mere €12.99 a month. The last few months they've been targeting me with content for truckers in the U.S., so not entirely accurate anyway. So, do I pay €155 a yr to block ads, or keep scrolling for free?

"We will probably pay you so we're not technically stealing *your* face, but we will absolutely steal the faces of your beloved dead" is not the winner the AMPTP thinks it is.

NaNoWriMo doesn't have to be 50,000 words. The point is just to get you writing, and if that means you open up your draft every day and think about it a little, that can be your win!

Don't let huge goals dissuade you from smaller, attainable ones.
Can we have an advice thread? It doesn’t have to be good advice.
