Calgary. Sometimes here.
I love what the Oasis concert was for so many men.

Even my firmly conservative friends and coworkers are pissed about the annexation threat, but I did chat with some real live small town Albertans who liked the idea of becoming Americans, because…”lower taxes.” I was shocked.

The AMA section on fascism by author Craig Johnson is very enlightening. Highly recommend a quick read of the Q&A's. Fascinating and scary stuff. www.reddit.com/r/AskHistori...

Flag day... Calgary folks, are you participating? I have a giant Canada flag I've been wanting to display for years.

Can’t think of a worse thing for an introvert who hates being cold than a bottle drive.

Feel so bad for my teen who had to participate in a bottle drive today. 🤣

Is mine the only workplace where you can order Valentine’s Day flowers to someone at your work? It’s so weird. There are signs all over the break room. Who would do that.

I will never stop being mad about how the media has treated the anti-trans movement as a group of ordinary people with legitimate concerns rather than the obvious frothing bigots they are.
ABC White House correspondent just released ANOTHER anti-trans EO expected that we did not cover in our piece this morning:

A federal ban on funding to programs that acknowledge and affirm transgender people.

The Instagram square is gone now? So annoying. Our Meta overlords suck.

Very torn. Don’t want to delete Facebook or Instagram because of the very real connections with groups of people and family and friends. Have to ignore the news and stuff they’re trying to push on me. All garbage. Need a better alternative! Friendster?

If anyone is curious, our hail damaged vehicle from the August hail storm is almost fixed. A couple more weeks. Never park at the airport in the summer in Calgary.

My son’s team lost in the Esso finals. Lots of tears. Feels worse than the Oilers Game 7 loss. 😭 #Calgary

Reading about Carnegie libraries and realizing I’ve never been inside the Calgary one downtown! And learned that Edmonton tore theirs down?! Going down a Wikipedia rabbit hole today.

Does Smith know it's all futile, but is going through the motions of "standing up for Albertans" so come election time when she needs to justify the massive deficits and government cuts she can say she tried so hard to fight for us? Random thoughts. #ableg

Love Jon Stewart so much. Such a master at his craft. A few awkward moments for Carney, but some zingers and strong moments too. He seemed most confident and at ease when talking about the economy. #cdnpoli
