The AGRA Northern Network Group recently met up online. The group came up with suggestions for topics that they would like to discuss at future meetings. These included time management, report writing, DNA, developing a business plan, charging and setting fees.

The last burial at Wardsend was in 1974 (there were two reinterments in 1977) although the cemetery had been neglected long before that. Wardsend, with its mix of woodland and heathland and its location on the banks of a rejuvenated River Don is now a haven for wildlife in a busy city.

Appeal: long, shot, I know. Anyone have a copy of National Archives ADM 358/4320? Enquiries into missing personnel. HMS Warwick: 20 February 1944; sunk by enemy action, torpedoed in the Bristol Channel. Trying to confirm whether man I'm researching was on board at the time (he outlived sinking).

My favourite of the images of Sheffield created in the early 20th century by artist Walter Hayward Young (1868-1920) for postcard manufacturer Raphael Tuck. He often signed his work by the pseudonym Jotter. In his lifetime he created more than 800 such designs.
