Official time 27:26. New park run PB at Oaklands this morning. I answered the question of could I go below 27:30. I suppose the next question is can I go below 27:00? (A question a year ago, I would never have dreamed, I'd be posing).

Yesterday, I participated in Solihull's Remembrance service. As a Councillor, we don our official robes and stand facing the memorial during the ceremony.
I attend every year as its important to remember those who gave their lives. Had they not, the world would be a much darker place.

Bike theft has effectively been decriminalised.

The Liberal Democrats are demanding action through Operation Bike Bait — a national crackdown to catch offenders and deliver justice.

Me speaking about Solihull's Council Tax Scheme, attempting to get to the bottom of exactly how much money the council receives from central government to support it. The answer was less than it costs to run, but they don't know.

I do strongly believe that women together with their partners should have a right to choose whether they are in the right place to bring up a child, within those early weeks of pregnancy.
Nigel Farage is colluding with anti-abortion groups in the America to roll back women’s rights in the UK.

We won’t stand for it. The Liberal Democrats will not let allow Trump’s America to become Farage’s Britain.

One of the biggest frustrations most people face. I know there are times, when I've simply given up trying to get an appointment.
Waiting weeks to see a doctor when you're sick, worried, or in pain should be unheard of.

The Labour government must back our emergency plan:
🥼 A recruitment and retention drive for 8000 more GPs
🏥 A dedicated fund to reopen surgeries
📱 24/7 booking via 111

Been watching England V Latvia. England camped on the edge of Latvia's penalty area and passing it around, isn't actually very entertaining. Not complaining about being 4-0 up, but great game it is not.....

81,885 (assuming I remembered that correctly) at Twickenham today for the Women's world cup final! Great to see so many turning out for women's sport and it's been a great game.

Official Result was 27:33, which means I smashed my goal of sub-28 minutes and took 28 seconds off my personal best.
I'm still struggling to believe how much I've improved and the fact that I'm well into times that I thought were beyond me.
Where next? (Sub 27:30 seems possible, Sub 27 maybe?)
