Restricting air traffic in Honolulu is especially cruel. Not one flight through there can be replaced with surface travel.

They aren’t grounded so the electricity flows around them. That concept led to insulated platforms that workers can stand on to work bare-handed with live lines. Always seemed scary to me but I worked as support for a crew that worked with transmission lines who had actually done this.
