Same, in my case it was tumors also causing a constantly at least slightly out of wack immune response, but I always got cascading sick, for at least 6 weeks every season, until very recently post surgery.

I had the flu and had to reschedule some rheum testing for at least a month at the time because it temporarily will throw off immune system markers. It sounds scary. It does put you at greater risk of problems for awhile... As do all viral infections.
