OK SO, 25% book tariffs are set to go live April 2. this is tricky for a number of reasons but the simplest is that most books are published & warehoused in the US, even those by Canadian authors, so this makes it infinitely more complicated than "Buy Canadian Authors" or slapping on a sticker

I understand why we aren’t expelling the U.S. ambassador to Canada (yet) but I’d like to know why Canada is, under the current circumstances, still allowing US customs officers to operate on Canadian soil.

Putting the Arctic Ocean closer to the center, this brings the Greenland Canada gambit into focus. It is a grab for power, money, water, and resources, also giving the US complete control over the Northwest Passage. Fentanyl and the border are a smokescreen for a much bigger project: theft.

Doug Ford needs to cancel Ontario’s contract with Starlink now. Absolutely solidarity with Ukraine but also to avoid it being used as a bargaining chip by Musk and Trump against Canada. Right now, Premier Ford.
