For all the folks whose dreams included working for NPS this summer, I’m so sorry this happened. I hope this doesn’t stop your pursuit of protecting, preserving, recreating and educating about the best thing we have in America.
The Trump Administration’s hiring freeze has led the National Parks Service to cancel job offers for seasonal employees. We are concerned this could leave our parks understaffed during the busy summer season, which sees over 100 million visitors annually.
