Totally agree! I feel so privileged to have seen this with Sadie Sink. All the cast was top notch
If you’re in NYC you should see JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN
We saw it last night and can’t stop talking about it
It’s really vital theatre
Very well written in a classic structure
If you can’t get to it here i think it’ll play everywhere for years so you’ll get the chance to see it later

Higher standards for posting about shitty colleagues than editorial standards for news article.
I deleted several posts about a Times story because they violated Times social media standards.

He ticked the boxes of Asian and African American as a person of Indian descent who was born and raised in . . . Africa? This is not newsworthy
He didn't even get in!!! The entire story is that he ticked a box on a form that gave him no material advantage in his life.

Well this is horrible . . .
I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.

This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.

It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

Maybe this guy should resign if he can’t do the job?
Fetterman complains about the reconciliation debate: "Oh my god, I just want to go home! I've missed our entire trip to the beach...I'm going to vote no, there's no drama...I don't think it's really helpful to put people here til some ungodly hour."

America elected a know nothing clown. Congrats friends on the worst pile of garbage to occupy our top leadership spot.
If I'm running a news room now, I assign everyone who has done piece on Biden's final-years fitness-to-govern, and have them apply same standards here.

(Once heard Bill Clinton give 45-minute ad-hoc on what diff *counties* in Arkansas had done in Civil War. Trump doesn't know WHAT YEAR it was.)
Trump: "If you look at the end of the Civil War -- the 1800s, it was a very turbulent time. If you take the end day -- was it 1869? Or whatever."

Wow I just looked it up and this is true. Dude is like “yea, I am eugenicist” screaming out loud and still media doesn’t get it?
I can’t believe that’s a real sentence but that man is our Health Secretary and our elected officials, including FOUR PHYSICIANS in the US Senate, voted to confirm him even though this information is all public and was available to them.

Remember when we were told over and over Amazon would kill the bookstore? Yet . . .
Will reading become obsolete? How A.I. could transform our relationship to the written word.
What’s Happening to Reading?
For many people, A.I. may be bringing the age of traditional text to an end.

Keep pushing! They’re such awful losers
Rep. Vindman: "I spoke to the mother of one F-18 pilot who flew the Mar. 15 mission over the Red Sea in Yemen that you discussed over Signal...She believes that you need to resign."

Hegseth: "I don't apologize for success."

Rep. Vindman: "I think you should resign."

“Likely to” seems bad, no? We’ve crossed the Rubicon folks
The presidential memorandum never mentions Los Angeles or California. It’s a blank check for mobilizing National Guard and active duty troops to deploy anywhere to protect federal personnel or functions wherever protests “are occurring or are likely to occur.”

Remember when the GOP was the “pro-life” party?
“We all die eventually,” says Iowa Senator Joni Ernst, responding to a question about how Medicaid cuts will result in people dying.

Don’t be fooled by false promises and lies—this is who the GOP is.

They're okay with people dying so billionaires get tax cuts.
GOP Sen. Joni Ernst responds to voters saying that cutting Medicaid will kill them: “Well, we all are going to die.”
