It’s so strange how they’re reporting numbers. We’re familiar with 70- 80k capacity sports stadium - I was in Pasadena and there was near a sports stadium full of people out on the streets - to say LA was only 100k? Santa Monica was even more attended than Pasadena and DTLA was significantly bigger

Seriously - I guess they don’t realize that the stats are skewed by the fact that most of us are too dang scared to go out after dark

My theory is he’s stonewalling the April 5th protests - classic narcissist playbooks. He can claim he was too busy playing golf to notice them -and that will function to diminish

Many v. high attaining kids don’t realize their sense of entitlement often oozes through their essays either in tone or foci. Colleges want real life experience, passions outside academia and a sense of community belonging / paying back Thousands have the grades. That’s not special anymore.

Well there’s an argument to be had that’s he collapsing mechanisms of global capitalism; cheap exploitation labor landfill-destined goods and potentially reigniting more micro and community economics - but I don’t think that’s his true ideology or his conscious intention and it’s not worth fascism
